My journey started almost 4 years ago.
I was helping my mom clean out her garden shed (which used to be my playhouse growing up ) and I thought I had cleaned the door frame but I didn't and I hit it with the top of my head. From that my life changed. I got a TBI and Post concussions syndrome. I had to go to On With Life in Ankeny, Iowa. I went through their outpatient concussions clinic for almost 7 months. It was one of the toughest, hardest things I have ever done in my whole life but I am so grateful for that place. I would not be where I am today without them.
I had started my own business because it was a lot easier at the time than going back into the workforce at the time.
After a lot of work and therapy, I believe that I was given this to help other people believe that they can do whatever they can do.
I want to be able to advocate for people who deserve a second chance at life. My quote in life is " Just Keep Swimming"
